Graham Hughes is Professor of Environmental Fluid Mechanics and Head of the Fluid Mechanics Section in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London. His research interests focus on buoyancy-driven flows in a range of applications including the built environment, solar and marine renewable energy and ocean dynamics. He completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge in 1996 and then held post-doctoral and research positions in the UK and Australia. He was an Australian Future Fellow prior to joining Imperial College London in 2016.
